When people not in a good mood or mad, having a dessert is the best way to cure their mood. When people talk about dessert, first appear in their mind is Ice-cream. Everyone love Ice-cream, especially girls, I think no one will say no to Ice-cream. Sottozero is now landed in Malaysia with their first outlet in Alamanda, Putrajaya

For your information, Gelato simply means ice cream in Italian where it has less fat than ice cream. While ice cream is normally heavy on the cream and has a fat content of at least 10 percent, but Gelato uses more milk than cream. Beside that, Gelato is normally served warmer than ice cream. If ice cream were served at the same temperature as gelato, it would melt and become way too soupy. On the other hand if Gelato were served at the ice cream temperature if would be way too hard, and would lose the elastic texture.
Nowadays, the ice-cream market in Malaysia mostly consists of ice-creams that are either locally produced or brought in from overseas markets by traditional international and regional brands. Most ice-creams offered are manufactured in the factory or in a central kitchen environment and delivered to retail sites weeks if not months later, robbing the ice-cream consumers of its freshness, flavours, creaminess and smooth textures of freshly made ice-cream. There are very few ice-cream kiosk that produces and offer freshly made ice-cream daily at the retail site, but Sottozero is one of the rare gelatarias that produce their own gelatos on site by Italian Gelato Artisan which means your ice-cream will be prepared by an Italian.
Sottozero offers a menu of at least 24 flavours of fresh daily made Gelato (55%) on site using highest quality natural ingredients with Gelato Cakes of assorted designs and flavours (20%), Coffee and Cold drinks (15%). All types of Italian coffee, latte, Cappuccino and Italian style fruit granitas made on sites with assorted flavours like lemon, pistachio, strawberry, mango, orange and water melon etc. Another 10% offerings of Italian Pastry like cannoli with custard, bomboloni, minions and crepes made freshly with fruits and other types of savouries.
Not to forget, Sottozero imports all its Gelato and Desert making ingredients directly from Italy right down to the waffle cones and wafer biscuits. It also uses pre-selected freshest seasonal fruits daily as one of its key ingredients.
