"Conjuring Spirit" Premiere Screening in Cathay Cineplex, E@Curve Mutiara Damansara
After One week staying in house and do nothing because of sick, finally i am recovered and NOW is time to update my blog. Yesterday, I am invited to the movie "Conjuring Spirit" premiere screening in E@Curve. Thanks RAM Entertainment for inviting me as one of the guest to watch this movie before it is showing in cinemas.
April, the month always with lots of horror movie showing in Cinemas, therefore "Conjuring Spirit" Vietnamese horror movie will be in Cinemas on 9 April 2015. I guess there are some audiences cannot understand the language just like me, but no worries because subtitles are provided in Chinese, English and Malay. Even without the subtitles, you will still able to understand the movie from their acting and the story flow.
The young director, Van M. Pham will bring you an obsessing story right inside the glorious Saigon. With a new way of telling the story as well as using successfully the unique images, beside the potential cast: Phuong Mai, Quang Su, Hoang Phuc, Hoai An, Chi Pu…, the movie will have many surprises for the fans of horror movies.
Story:
The Lan – a detective fiction author – couldn’t bear the hurt
from her husband’s betrayal, so she decided to leave the house and move to an
rental apartment in an old building with her 5 years old son, Bi. One of her
neighbors there was Thao, who was living with her husband and her stubborn
teenage daughter Ngoc. Around the same time she moved in there, Vu – an amateur
musician- also chose an apartment here to live in.
The pain of the betrayal obsessed Lan every day and made
her have many nightmares. She needed to consult a therapist as well as take
daily medication. One day her son was
given a music box by Mrs. Chu, the building supervisor, and since then the
nightmares came even more frequently.
Lan and her neighbor Vu decided to try to find out the
answers to the mysteries happening in the building. Finally they realized
something abnormal and devilish related to the music box. Who is the true owner
of the music box? May it be a ghost dwelling inside it and trying to get
revenge for something?
After watching the movie, you will realize that "CONJURING
SPIRIT" has not only frightening scenes but also some amusing and touching
moments from which the audience can see and feel the dark corners of the
young’s life and the maternal love in the context of modern family. HUSH is the confined
world of the urban people struggling with their personal tragedy.
Special Thanks to RAM Entertainment for bringing in this movie. Catch her in Conjuring Spirit coming in cinemas 9 April 2015.
