Malaysia unveiled the new additions to its Predator Gaming line in Malaysia, Predator
Triton 700 laptop that comes with the latest overclockable NVIDIA® GeForce GTX
1080 with Max-Q design and their very first low profile N-Key Roll Over
mechanical keyboard.
Acer Malaysia has unveiled three new devices for our local
market days ago, which are Liquid Z220, Z520, and Jade Z as entry level budget Android based smartphones.
First up the Liquid Z220 is
a 4 inch entry level smartphone with WVGA
(480 x 800) display. It is powered by a
1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8210 dual-core processor that is mated with
1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage.
Its
camera combo is 5MP rear and 2MP front, packing with a rather low capacity
1,300 mAh battery certainly means you will need to bring along a power bank to
prevent your phone from running out of battery.
It
carries dual SIM card slots and pre-installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop on top
which makes it one of the most affordable Android smartphone with Lollipop
firmware out of the box.
The Liquid Z220 is
available now at RM 299.
Next up we have the Liquid Z520 which offers a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display that
is running on a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTM6582M quad-core processor. It is
paired with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which also can be
expanded with a microSD card.
It is equipped with a 8MP
rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. This dual SIM device runs Android
4.4 KitKat with a 2,000 size battery included and it cost RM 499 in
Malaysia.
Being the highest specs among the three newly launched devices,
the Liquid Jade Z weighing in at just 110 grams with
7.95mm depth and it is housing a 5 inch HD display that packs
with a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6732 quad-core 64-bit processor. It comes with
dual nano SIM card slot and there’s 2 GB of RAM and 16GB expandable
storage onboard.
The Jade Z sports a 13 megapixel F1.8 rear camera that
bundled with a 5 megapixel F2.2 front-facing snapper. Powered up by
a 2,300 mAh capacity battery, it offers LTE connectivity. Its retail price
is also the most expensive among the trio at RM 799.
