vivo had released their high-end smartphone, vivo V3Max in Malaysia back in April at the retail price of RM 1,399 (including GST). Read more @ vivo v3max launched in malaysia. It is powered by Snapdragon Octa core processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. The vivo V3 Max aims to be the faster than faster.

Device unboxed @ v3max unboxing and first impression. Let's see how fast vivo V3Max can be

the [A]ppearance
If you are familiar with Oppo smartphone, you might messed up vivo V3 Max with Oppo F1. If both device placed in front of you with the logo hiding, I guess you can't recognize which is which as both of them look alike. You may heard some rumors that vivo and Oppo are sister company, however vivo claimed that they have no relation with Oppo. The availability of fingerprint sensor in vivo V3Max makes the different between them whereas Oppo F1 is not equipped with fingerprint sensor. Vivo is following their tradition, equipped metal housing and logo at back of V3Max which makes it look similar like the older device. This round, vivo added curved edge into the device therefore it is no longer a rectangle device but with some curve at every corner. Last but not the least, the weight with a full metal body is just 168g which is very light to carry around for daily usage.

the [B]rain
The brain of vivo V3Max is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor together with 4GB RAM. Faster response time and smooth experience is no longer a mission impossible when you have V3Max on hand. With the joining of the 3000 mAh capacity non-removable battery, V3Max is able to survive up to 1 day or more depends on the usage. To be honest, I am impressed by vivo's Dual-Charge Circuits as it provide fast charging with extra safety protection to the device. With that technology, it only takes less than 2 hours to full charge V3MaxThe fingerprint sensor works pretty fast on vivo V3Max, it will unlock by the time you took out your smartphone.

Beauty Effect
vivo uses 13 MP camera sensor and Phase Detection Auto focus on V3Max to produce better images with fast focusing, to be exact only 0.2s needed for focusing and "ta-dah!" you will then get a great image. As a mid-range smartphone, I never expect that V3Max can take nice food images until I try it during my holiday in Melaka. Michelin star grade restaurant, Tim Ho Wan recently opened an outlet there, so I decided to pay a visit together with my vivo V3Max. As you all know, nowadays phone camera always eat before human, so camera plays an important role to get nice food images then the image will be share on social media since "Sharing is Caring". From the food image shown below, I believe vivo realized how important is the camera and start focusing on it. For selfie lover, vivo also added in new feature other than normal beauty effect, called custom make-up. You can choose your favourite eye-shadow colour when selfie using vivo V3Max. However, it is sad to say vivo V3Max's camera struggle under lowlight situation. Future improvements can still be done by vivo to fulfil the needs and to serve the user with better camera sensor.

the [D]enouement
In short, vivo V3Max does attract me with the price and specs, more than what I have expected from a mid-range device. Battery life is always another vital aspects to user on smartphone purchasing. I am truly impressed by the battery life and Dual-Charge Circuits of vivo V3Max and start leaving my powerbanks at home when I am out for events or any important meet-ups. Even though vivo V3Max is faster than faster, but more effort needed in order to be the fastest! Looking forward for the achievement!
